What RedteaGo charges
The cheaper end of RedteaGo's catalogue works out at $0.98 a gigabyte. That undercuts the $1.37 a gigabyte works out at for the median provider we track, and ranks RedteaGo 10 of 42, counting from the cheapest.
In September 2026 we started counting a plan sold at several trip lengths as one plan, so the month-by-month line starts again from then — it returns once we hold 4 monthly snapshots.
Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan the provider lists — the cheaper end of their range, not an average — against the same figure for the median provider we track.

RedteaGo also sells plans for 12 regions — one eSIM covering a group of countries rather than a single one.
Where RedteaGo puts you on the internet
RedteaGo does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.
What sort of provider RedteaGo is
RedteaGo sells eSIMs through its own iOS and Android app as well as a website, with plans scoped to one country, a continent or a broad global group of destinations. Most are data-only, though some options add calls and texts in selected regions. Customers can add more data to an existing eSIM mid-trip, and part of the range offers unlimited data.
Most of the world is within RedteaGo’s stated catalogue, but that reach alone does not set it apart: several rivals also sell in nearly every region. The more useful comparison is destination by destination; its catalogue is especially deep in Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia and Hong Kong, while a nearby country may offer much less choice. Regional and global plans suit border-crossing itineraries, putting several countries on one profile, though they typically cost more per gigabyte than country plans. RedteaGo states that plans can be topped up, but does not say whether tethering, voice, SMS or a phone number is available.
