What Stellar eSIM charges
The cheaper end of Stellar eSIM's catalogue works out at $0.46 a gigabyte. It is 66% under the $1.34 a gigabyte works out at for the median provider we track, and nothing else comes in lower — by this measure Stellar eSIM has the cheapest catalogue of the 47 we track.
In September 2026 we started counting a plan sold at several trip lengths as one plan, so the month-by-month line starts again from then — it returns once we hold 4 monthly snapshots.
Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan the provider lists — the cheaper end of their range, not an average — against the same figure for the median provider we track.

Stellar eSIM also sells plans for 10 regions — one eSIM covering a group of countries rather than a single one.
Where Stellar eSIM puts you on the internet
Stellar eSIM does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.
What sort of provider Stellar eSIM is
Stellar eSIM comes from Stellar Security, a Swiss security company, and includes its Stellar VPN app at no extra cost. It is data-only, with country, regional and global plans whose validity starts when the eSIM first connects at the destination. Plans can be topped up or upgraded in the Stellar Data app, and cryptocurrency payment, including Monero, is accepted. The site cites Swiss privacy law and a no-activity-logs policy.
Tethering is an explicit part of Stellar eSIM’s stated feature set, and it also lists top-ups, which may let travellers extend a plan rather than buy another. Its catalogue reaches most of the world and includes country, regional and global plans; regional and global options can suit border-crossing trips on one profile. Such bundles usually cost more per gigabyte, so their value is clearest across several stops. Stellar does not say whether it offers voice, SMS or a phone number, so check the terms before relying on those; billing is also unstated.
