What sort of provider Roamix is

Roamix runs entirely in the browser: buying, managing and topping up an eSIM all happen on its website, with no app needed. It offers country plans in fixed data sizes and validity periods, plus regional and global bundles. Extra data can be added to an active eSIM without reinstalling, and standard capped plans allow hotspot use.

Explicit support for tethering and top-ups is a useful part of Roamix’s stated offer, although it does not say whether its eSIMs provide voice, SMS or a phone number. Its catalogue reaches most of the world, so breadth is not much of a differentiator: several rivals sell nearly everywhere too. The meaningful comparison is per destination, with particularly deep choice in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and South Korea, while nearby countries may be thinner. Regional and global plans suit border-crossing itineraries, but usually cost more per gigabyte than country plans; one-off billing leaves top-up as the route to extending a purchase.
