What ZenSim charges
The cheaper end of ZenSim's catalogue works out at $1.80 a gigabyte. That is above the $1.34 a gigabyte works out at for the median provider we track — ZenSim ranks 42 of 53 from the cheapest, so it is worth checking what the same destination costs elsewhere on the site.
We first recorded their catalogue in September 2026, so there is no month-by-month line to draw yet — it starts once we hold 4 monthly snapshots.
Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan the provider lists — the cheaper end of their range, not an average — against the same figure for the median provider we track.

ZenSim also sells plans for 10 regions — one eSIM covering a group of countries rather than a single one.
Where ZenSim puts you on the internet
ZenSim does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.
What sort of provider ZenSim is
ZenSim was founded by two Australians and presents itself as an alternative to large telecoms. Its prepaid travel eSIMs carry no contract or recurring charge, so customers pay only for the trip in question. It has a mobile app, aims its marketing at Australian travellers, and supports the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and Carbon Positive Australia.
Sharing data from a laptop is an explicit ZenSim commitment, as is topping up a plan; it also states that its eSIMs do not provide a phone number. It publishes nothing about voice or SMS, so those uses need checking in the terms. Its catalogue reaches most of the world, although that breadth is common among rivals: the meaningful comparison is by destination, since ZenSim is deepest in Turkey, Albania, Croatia, Greece and Bulgaria and may be thinner nearby. Country, regional and global plans cover border-crossing trips on one profile, while billing remains a one-off purchase.

Providers worth comparing against ZenSim
Each of these sells into much the same markets as ZenSim. The figures are this month's and state a difference, not a verdict: typical price per gigabyte, and how many countries each reaches.
