Airalo pricing, month by month

Airalo has been one of the steadier providers we track: a gigabyte comes to $2.45 at the cheaper end of their range, within a few cents of the $2.45 we recorded in December 2025, across 10 months. Neither side of that has moved: Airalo has held at roughly 1,303 plans across all 10 months, and the figure has stayed where it was, so there is nothing here to put down to a changing catalogue.

That is well above the $1.48 a gigabyte works out at for the median provider we track. Airalo is one of the pricier catalogues we cover, 29 of 32 counting from the cheapest, though a headline rate is not the whole story on a plan you will actually use. It has hardly wobbled in the process — $2.45 to $2.50 across all 10 months.

Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan this provider had listed that month — the cheaper end of their range, not an average. Because it covers the whole catalogue, it also moves when a provider adds or drops plans, which is why the plan count is charted underneath.

Where you can use Airalo

Airalo sells eSIMs for 194 countries. Open one to see every Airalo plan for it, what it costs and which networks it runs on — most-asked-about destinations first.

Where Airalo puts you on the internet

Airalo does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.

What sort of provider Airalo is

Voice and SMS are explicitly supported, a useful distinction for anyone needing calls or texts, while Airalo does not say whether its eSIMs provide a phone number or support tethering. Its reach spans most of the world, but country-specific plans mean the catalogue is not a single multi-country bundle: depth varies by destination, with France, Georgia, Belgium, Canada and Israel among its stronger markets. Top-up support is also unstated, so check the terms before planning to extend a plan. Since rivals also sell nearly everywhere, compare it country by country rather than by global reach.
