Where YeSIM puts you on the internet

YeSIM does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.

What sort of provider YeSIM is

Swiss-run Genesis Group AG operates YeSIM, which sells fixed country and regional data bundles alongside a pay-as-you-go option, Pay & Fly, whose unused balance carries over to later trips. Daily unlimited passes and a multi-country global package are also listed. The eSIM is data-only, with calls and messages handled through apps such as WhatsApp, and hotspot sharing is enabled by default.

A near-world catalogue is not unusual among eSIM providers, so YeSIM’s reach alone says little about its place in the market. The useful comparison is at destination level: its published range is deeper in Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Romania, while another country only a short border away may offer fewer choices. Regional and global plans also suit itineraries crossing borders, allowing one profile rather than a separate purchase for each country. YeSIM does not say whether tethering, top-ups, calls, SMS or a phone number are supported, so check its terms before relying on them.
