What Skyalo charges

The cheaper end of Skyalo's catalogue works out at $1.70 a gigabyte. That is above the $1.37 a gigabyte works out at for the median provider we track — Skyalo ranks 34 of 46 from the cheapest, so it is worth checking what the same destination costs elsewhere on the site.

We first recorded their catalogue in September 2026, so there is no month-by-month line to draw yet — it starts once we hold 4 monthly snapshots.

Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan the provider lists — the cheaper end of their range, not an average — against the same figure for the median provider we track.

Where you can use Skyalo

Skyalo sells eSIMs for 204 countries. Open one to see every Skyalo plan for it, what it costs and which networks it runs on — most-asked-about destinations first.

Where Skyalo puts you on the internet

Skyalo does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.

What sort of provider Skyalo is

Skyalo delivers a QR code by email straight after payment and sells eSIM plans by country or region, in several data sizes and validity periods. Several eSIM profiles can sit on one phone next to a physical SIM, and a top-up can be added to an existing profile for the same country or region.

Tethering and top-ups are explicit commitments Skyalo publishes, useful for sharing data with a laptop and extending a plan. It does not say whether its eSIMs provide voice, SMS or a phone number, so those details need checking in the terms before purchase. The catalogue reaches most of the world, but that breadth is not unique among eSIM providers: the useful comparison is destination by destination, since it is well stocked in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and South Korea without implying equal depth nearby. Regional and global plans can cover border-crossing trips on one profile, though usually at a higher cost per gigabyte than a country plan.
