Chunghwa and Taiwan Mobile are the networks GigSky names for Taiwan: several stated options to fall back on if one is thin outside the cities. A large range makes sizing the real decision, with the risk of buying more data than a fortnight needs. Traffic breaks out in the United States of America, so the round trip to Taiwan-hosted services is longer; video calls and gaming may feel that, while maps, messaging and browsing largely will not, and your IP appears US-based. GigSky lists 5G as the fastest technology, but does not say whether tethering is available, worth checking if a laptop must get online.
