What MeSIM charges
The cheaper end of MeSIM's catalogue works out at $1.35 a gigabyte. Across every provider we track, a gigabyte works out at $1.34 for the median one.
We first recorded their catalogue in October 2026, so there is no month-by-month line to draw yet — it starts once we hold 4 monthly snapshots.
Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan the provider lists — the cheaper end of their range, not an average — against the same figure for the median provider we track.

MeSIM also sells plans for 17 regions — one eSIM covering a group of countries rather than a single one.
Where MeSIM puts you on the internet
MeSIM does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.
What sort of provider MeSIM is
MeSIM is an Australian travel eSIM store run by LayerCayk. It sells fixed-data and unlimited plans for single countries, regions and global travel, including daily passes priced by trip length and a small range of plans with a local phone number. Unlimited plans state a daily high-speed allowance and the reduced speed that follows it. Prices are in US dollars and the eSIM is delivered digitally after purchase.
Phone-number, voice and SMS support are all listed by MeSIM, giving it a clearly specified calling profile. Its country, regional and global plans also make it worth considering for a trip across borders: a regional or global bundle can cover several stops on one profile, though it usually costs more per gigabyte than a single-country plan and makes more sense for a multi-stop trip than a week in one place. Top-ups are supported, but MeSIM does not say whether tethering is available, so check its terms before relying on data sharing.
