What HiRoaming charges
The cheaper end of HiRoaming's catalogue works out at $1.16 a gigabyte. Across every provider we track, a gigabyte works out at $1.35 for the median one.
We first recorded their catalogue in October 2026, so there is no month-by-month line to draw yet — it starts once we hold 4 monthly snapshots.
Each figure is the lower quartile of every plan the provider lists — the cheaper end of their range, not an average — against the same figure for the median provider we track.

HiRoaming also sells plans for 9 regions — one eSIM covering a group of countries rather than a single one.
Where HiRoaming puts you on the internet
HiRoaming does not publish where its traffic reaches the internet, so we cannot tell you. That is a gap in what the provider states rather than a finding about how it routes — a provider that publishes nothing may well come out locally everywhere. We only report exits a provider declares, plan by plan, and we do not infer the rest.
What sort of provider HiRoaming is
HiRoaming is an Indonesian eSIM store selling data-only plans for single countries and regions, delivered as a QR code by email with no account needed to buy. Alongside fixed-allowance plans it offers daily-quota plans priced per day, where the traveller picks how many days they need at checkout. Plans can be topped up, and validity starts on first connection to a network in the coverage area.
Tethering is explicitly supported by HiRoaming, making its plans an option for sharing data with a laptop; it also states that plans can be topped up. Its catalogue spans most of the world and combines country-specific offers with regional bundles, which can keep a multi-stop trip on one eSIM profile rather than requiring a separate one at each border. Regional data usually costs more per gigabyte than a single-country plan, so that convenience is more useful across several stops. HiRoaming does not say whether its plans include voice or SMS.
