About Always Mobile
Always Mobile sells prepaid, data-only travel eSIMs; the site says voice calls and SMS are not offered. Plans come per country, per region or worldwide, plus unlimited options chosen by destination. Every plan allows tethering to other devices, and there are no contracts. The QR code arrives by email, so no app is needed to install it.

SMART and Globe are the operators Always Mobile lists for Philippines, giving several named networks to fall back on if one is thin outside the cities; this is a stated list, not a coverage guarantee. Traffic breaks out in Hong Kong, so the round trip to Philippine services is longer and video calls or gaming may feel it, while maps, messaging and browsing largely do not; your IP appears Hong Kong-based. Technology is listed up to 5G. With a large range, sizing is the real choice, and the risk is buying more data than a fortnight needs. Tethering is stated as supported, so a laptop can get online.
