About Always Mobile
Always Mobile sells prepaid, data-only travel eSIMs; the site says voice calls and SMS are not offered. Plans come per country, per region or worldwide, plus unlimited options chosen by destination. Every plan allows tethering to other devices, and there are no contracts. The QR code arrives by email, so no app is needed to install it.

Spark and Vodafone are the operators Always Mobile names for New Zealand, giving the eSIM more than one stated network to fall back on when one is thin outside the cities. Its large range makes sizing the real decision, with a risk of buying more data than a fortnight needs. Traffic breaks out through the United Kingdom, so the round trip to New Zealand-hosted services is longer; video calls and gaming may feel that, while maps, messaging and browsing largely will not, and websites see a UK IP address. 5G is the fastest technology it states, and tethering is supported for laptop use.
