Traffic breaks out in the United States of America, so the round trip is longer: video calls and gaming can feel it, while maps, messaging and browsing largely do not; websites and apps checking location will see a US IP. With a large range of plans, sizing is the main choice, though buying more data than a fortnight needs is a risk. GigSky does not say whether top-up is available, so check before buying.
