About Always Mobile
Always Mobile sells prepaid, data-only travel eSIMs; the site says voice calls and SMS are not offered. Plans come per country, per region or worldwide, plus unlimited options chosen by destination. Every plan allows tethering to other devices, and there are no contracts. The QR code arrives by email, so no app is needed to install it.

Mobitel, Hutch, Dialog and Etisalat are the operators Always Mobile names for Sri Lanka, giving it several stated networks to fall back on when one is thin outside the cities. Its catalogue offers a large range of plans, so sizing the allowance is the main decision, with the risk of buying more data than a fortnight needs. The fastest technology it lists is up to 5G. Traffic breaks out in the United Kingdom, making the round trip longer for video calls and gaming, while your IP appears British. Top-up is stated as supported, so an exhausted plan can be extended rather than rebought.
