About Always Mobile
Always Mobile sells prepaid, data-only travel eSIMs; the site says voice calls and SMS are not offered. Plans come per country, per region or worldwide, plus unlimited options chosen by destination. Every plan allows tethering to other devices, and there are no contracts. The QR code arrives by email, so no app is needed to install it.

The named networks are China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom, giving Always Mobile several options if one is thin outside the cities. Traffic breaks out in Hong Kong, within China, so delay to locally hosted services should be short and the IP should look local to banking or government apps. Its large range makes choosing the right data size the main decision, with a risk of buying more than a fortnight needs. 5G is the stated ceiling, while top-up is available if an exhausted plan needs extending rather than rebuying.
