Best Alternative to Saily in 2026

The main compromise is Airalo’s country-only catalogue: switching from Saily means giving up regional and global plans, so trips crossing borders may require separate purchases. Airalo covers nearly all of Saily’s destinations and adds places such as Belarus, while Saily includes destinations Airalo does not, including Guernsey. Airalo also states that voice and SMS are supported, whereas Saily does not say whether they are. Prices vary by destination rather than consistently favouring either provider.

Access to destinations Saily does not list, including the Russian Federation and Belarus, is Nomad’s clearest gain. Nomad is also rated noticeably higher than Saily on Trustpilot. The main drawback is plan flexibility: Saily offers regional and global options, while Nomad sells country-specific plans only, so travelling across borders may mean arranging separate Nomad plans. In shared destinations, pricing varies rather than consistently favouring either provider, making cost a destination-by-destination comparison.

For most destinations, switching to JamboSIM means paying less for a comparable plan while retaining access to nearly all the places Saily covers. The coverage is not identical: JamboSIM includes the Russian Federation, which Saily does not, while Saily includes South Sudan, which JamboSIM does not. JamboSIM also states that tethering, top-ups, voice, SMS and a phone number are supported; Saily does not say whether these features are available. Both providers publish country, regional and global plans, as well as unlimited-data options, so the main trade is between JamboSIM’s generally lower prices and Saily’s handful of destinations that are not shared.
